Davido is officially coming back to Kigali. The Afrobeats heavyweight has confirmed that Rwanda will be a stop on his 5IVE Tour, with a concert set for December 5, 2025, at BK Arena.
It has been years since he last performed in Kigali, and fans have not been quiet about wanting him back. The demand has only grown as his global influence continues to rise. INTO RWANDA has learned that the concert is scheduled for December 5, 2025, at BK Arena, marking the artist’s return to Rwanda after years of anticipation from local fans.
Organized by Intore Entertainment, led by Bruce Intore, who is known for putting together major concerts. The lineup of Rwandan artists who will perform has not yet been announced. This concert will be preceded by a listening party for Davido’s new album, which will take place at La Noche Kigali on October 17, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Attendance will be strictly by invitation.
Davido is coming to perform in Kigali as part of a tour he has been on for weeks to promote his album “5Ive,” which kicked off on July 11, 2025, in Los Angeles, USA. Besides Los Angeles, he has staged other shows in various cities in the United States, and he will arrive in Rwanda coming from Atlanta, where he performed on November 20, 2025.
This album he plans to showcase in Kigali was released on April 18, 2025. It features artists like Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Shensea, Tay C, Dadju, among many others. It is the fifth album he has released following “Omo Baba Olowo” in 2012, “A Good Time” in 2019, “A Better Time” in 2020, and “Timeless” in 2023.
This will be Davido’s fourth time performing in Rwanda. His first concert here was in 2014 during the 20th Liberation Anniversary celebrations. He returned in 2018 as part of his “30 Billion Africa Tour,” where he performed alongside Buravan, Charly & Nina, and Riderman. Davido most recently performed in Kigali in 2023 during the Giants of Africa Festival held at BK Arena from August 13 to 19, 2023.
This show isn’t just another tour date. It’s a statement that Kigali is becoming a serious stop for global acts. The energy around the event already feels like the city is preparing for a moment. Concert-goers expect a packed arena, familiar hits, and the kind of performance that reminds everyone why Davido remains a leader of Africa’s sound.
Rwanda’s music scene will also get its shine with local talent expected to share the stage. It’s a chance for homegrown acts to meet a loud and diverse audience. Davido’s return is more than nostalgia. It’s Kigali saying we’re here and we’re ready for the world stage.
